About Our Dogs

We carefully select our breeding stock for the best physical qualities and exceptional temperament. Our adults pass the Canine Good Citizen Test prior to being considered for breeding.

All of our adult dogs have been extensively health tested including:

OFA Hips, OFA Elbows, OFA Heart, OFA Patella, CERF, PRA, DM, EIC, IC, vWD. Our breeding dogs have their DNA profiles run to test for genetic diseases as well as for identification, and are microchipped for permanent identification.

Our dogs have health exams prior to each breeding. We use ultrasound and xrays to monitor pregnancies.

Our dogs and puppies live in the house with us, so they are well socialized from birth and we know their temperaments and traits. We believe happy healthy dogs produce happy healthy puppies!

Sophie

Sophie is an all around sweet girl. She follows me wherever I go and has an easy going, laid back temperament. She will play hard and crazy when we're outside, and then sleep at my feet when we come in. Sophie is a medium with a current weight of 38 pounds. This is quite large for the breed, even as a medium.

Rosie Mae is our mini-mini at just 18 pounds. She has amazing silky hair that you want to run your hands through!

She'll run with you on a hike, and then curl up and snuggle on the couch.

She loves belly rubs and having her chin scratched.

Pouncing Piper

Piper is our energetic, curious, can do it girl. She doesn't run or walk, she pounces and plays, in fact her nickname is "Pouncy Piper." She is always on the go looking for her next adventure then jumps in my lap and curls up in a little ball, re-energizing for her next go around. Piper is a mini with a current weight of 24 pounds.

Nora is adorable! She is sweet and friendly and likes to play with her best friend, her housemate Kimber the yellow lab. She is a great mom!
